SHOW UP - Just paying your dues isn’t enough. You need to consistently be present & contribute. Empty chairs drag down the morale & effectiveness of the group. You would fire an employee who was absent 20-25% of the time.
BE ON TIME - Show respect for your colleagues by arriving on time so we can get started. It adds energy to the meeting and impresses guests when we are on schedule. We all have our own businesses to get to after the meeting.
PASS LEADS – Think first how you can give leads, and the leads will come flowing back to you. There is a strong correlation between giving leads, receiving leads, and growing your business. It takes an active effort.
RETURN PHONE CALLS – It’s professional to promptly return calls. It’s also embarrassing to the referrer if you don’t follow through on leads you are given.
ACT WITH INTEGRITY – We are putting our own integrity on the line when we give you a referral, and trusting you to always put the needs of the client first. It’s the platinum standard of business ethics.
LISTEN - It’s how you learn so you can make a referral. Don’t chat or interrupt the Leads Speakers.
BRING GUESTS – Everyone needs to bring guests to help make the group a success. Be sure to greet all guests and get to know them, so they are interested in joining our group.
HAVE LITERATURE – Self-promotion literature make it easier for us to refer to you and your business. Keep your business cards stocked and consider wearing a professional name tag.
HAND IN PANNED OUT LEADS – They are a great testimonial to your own business and encourage others to give you leads. They also show prospective members the value of joining Leads.
BE COMMITTED – A core group of dedicated Leaders is far better than an army of disinterested followers. Make the commitment.
